For sale is a xxxx Gibson '52 ES-295 made at the Gibson Custom Art & Historic Division.This is a rare one for you collectors! Back in xxxx Gibson produced about 15 ES 295's to commemorate the launch of the latest Gibson signature guitar - the Scotty Moore model - based on the original ES 295 Scotty played in the early '50s.The guitar I'm selling was obviously produced at the same time as the "Scotty Moore" models even though it didn't get the Scotty Moore arm rest and signature on the truss rod cover. This guitar however looks like the real deal xxxx ES-295! The unique and vintage correct features on this guitar are "Bullion Gold" lacquer finish that looks like the original xxxx ES 295's Gibson vintage correct tuning machines and correct placement of the crown inlay in the headstock. This guitar is 14 years old but the finish looks shiny new. There are no paint chips, dings and no buckle wear on the back. There is also no fret wear. The action is super low and buzz free and the neck is straight. It has a nice chunky 50's shape Les Paul size neck. The guitar is also super light weight at only 7lbs 3oz. The guitar comes with the brown Gibson USA hard shell case that is in MINT condition as well and also included is the original paperwork/warranty info, case combination setting card, polishing cloth and Gibson Art-Historic-Division hang tag.
