Position SummaryAs a corporate trainee, obtain hands:on job experience through a series of operational rotations conducted over an 18 month period leading to a final job placement that best balances the interests of the trainee and the company. Duties and Responsibilities: Build knowledge of all aspects of company operations through targeted rotations throughout the organization.Support the contact center operations from taking client calls, handling customer correspondence, monitoring call quality and providing feedback. Progress through a variety of call center positions demonstrating leadership and initiative as experience grows to become a trusted partner to the leadership team. Support the business development and relationship management teams in Institutional Banking, Commercial Lending, and/or the Health Savings Account areas from providing support to shadowing sales executives, learning how to effectively manage and build client relationships. Support back:office operations through rotations in Consumer Lending, Deposit Operations and/or Loan Operations including servicing new and existing accounts and clients. May obtain exposure to and experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting and documentation. May review, close and monitor loans as requested. Learn about industry rules and regulations through compliance and risk activities during rotations in compliance, fraud, and/or third party risk functions. Develop a foundational understanding of audits, controls, and daily compliance activities such as AML/Fraud monitoring and reporting, Bank Security Act, US Patriot Act and all policies, procedures, and regulations governing aspects of the business. Work on projects and initiatives for management teams, e.g. reviewing and analyzing data and key operational indices. Provide suggestions and recommendations for management including presenting to leadership.May participate in a corporate rotation, such as HR, Communications, and IT by sitting with the team members in client meetings and observing and performing daily operational tasks as assigned. Meet key leaders throughout the organization and obtain coaching and feedback to enhance the development experience and determine most appropriate career direction. Meet regularly with mentor and CDT program advisor to discuss learnings and experiences, provide and receive feedback and make recommendations to enhance the program for future trainees. Engage in a variety of training activities from taking webinars to reading business and professional journals to quickly develop knowledge and skills and assimilate into new areas. Perform other related duties as assigned.Education/Experience:An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
