Chief Executive Chef & President in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania For Sale

This senior leadership position will be responsible for a large, diverse operation that includes two award-winning high-volume upscale-casual restaurants (410 seats & 285 seats including large bars/lounges with 110 & 70 seats respectively), two large banquet clubhouse facilities (400 guests & 250 guests), a large climate-controlled banquet tent (6,000 square feet for 400 guests), and off-premise catering services to four (4) off-site venue partners and directly to off-premise businesses & private client locations.
The owner is retiring in two years so there is an equity earning opportunity within initial two (2) years tied into operational & financial performance, with 100% business purchase opportunity after five (5) years with 100% owner financing (no existing bank debt).
Job Purposes
To provide outstanding culinary direction, operational management, and marketing leadership in a continuous improvement Six Sigma Quality Culture to profitably grow the restaurant and catering businesses by delivering affordable, uplifting ?Raving Fan? guest experiences while achieving strong financial results and ROIs.
To learn and master ALL facets of the diverse restaurant and catering businesses to take over the CEO position within two (2) years to facilitate the owner?s retirement, and to assure a smooth transition of the business while providing a financial return to the current owner with a 100% equity ownership opportunity to the new CEO within five (5) years via 100% owner financing paid back from the business?s internal cash-flow.
Job RequirementsFour-Year Culinary and/or Hospitality Management Degree
Ten (10) Years Minimum Operations Management Experience in a High-Volume Restaurant and/or Catering Operation
Highly Talented & Very Creative Chef with a Passion for Fresh, Seasonal, and Eclectic Contemporary Cuisines to develop Menus with Strong Broad Appeals to Young Professionals, Millennials, and Baby-Boomers along with Strong Marketing Ideas & Skills to Continually Improve and Build the Business
