General Description:
The Computer Services Administration is currently recruiting for an Associate NOC Analyst to join their team.
The Associate NOC Analyst position is a 1st level position that works on the Network Operations Center (NOC) Team located at the Customer Data Center at 1 Reads Way. This team is responsible for resolving critical Infrastructure issues 24 hours per day 7 days a week. The Associate NOC Analyst position monitors/addresses issues pertaining to the most critical systems in the organization. These systems include but are not limited to; Microsoft core components such as Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Authentication, System Center Operations Manager for elevated monitoring and alerting, Exchange Mail, File/User Servers, Share Point, Spectrum and DNS.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monitor and operate control consoles of computer systems, network facilities, and all attached peripheral equipment.
* Optimizes system utilization by adjusting system resources in order to meet Service Level Agreements.
* Detects, analyzes and resolves routine computer production processing problems. Escalates problems according to procedures.
* Coordinates scheduled and unscheduled system outages, upgrades and facility management Services
* Provides basic technical assistance, support, turnover training to maintain operational readiness.
* Provide advanced 1st level problem resolution assistance and constituent support for assigned systems, products and facilities. Be willing to participate in a strong team atmosphere with other NOC resources and 4th level infrastructure members.
* Troubleshooting of all Infrastructure problems and involving NOC 2nd and NOC 3rd level for guidance as needed.
* Responsible for Problem Resolution of infrastructure issues and critical system applications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Must possess strong skill in written and verbal communication.
* Must possess a strong knowledge in all Windows operating systems.
* Must possess a strong knowledge in Spectrum, SCOM and other Infrastructure tools used within the NOC.
* Must possess a strong knowledge of CCHS Infrastructure systems and Applications.
* Provides assistance to NOC Team Leader as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration or experience consistent with the NOC Analyst job responsibilities.
* Five years of experience in Information Services desired.
* Should be functioning without close supervision within a three month period.
