Facilitates lease and property acquisitions/disposition transaction; identifies and eliminates surplus space; manages landlord, tenant and preferred vendor relationships. Leads team of real estate professionals in development and implementation of real estate strategy for an assigned territory. Directs the critical front-end lease negotiation phase of the real estate management process. Accountable for all leases in a broad geographic area. Determines locations and negotiates rents and terms. Develops and manages a process to translate business needs into lowest cost alternatives. Uses leverage of existing leases with landlords to influence new rents and to build out space as needed. Develops overall project budgets. MBA preferred with a major in real estate, marketing, or finance. Prior experience of 5-8 years and personal responsibility for large multi-million dollar purchases and lease negotiations, including sale/leaseback and equity positions.
