Overview Reporting to the Regional Development Director, this role directs the real estate activities within the assigned territory to assure cost effective management of existing assets and profitable new store development for the company and for franchisees. * This position requires heavy travel - 50% * Supporting Responsibilities Include Drawing on a wide variety of resources to conduct economic and market analysis, determine site availability and identify target markets Managing the site development process by partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve the store development plan for the assigned territory Directing regional and corporate process for contract / lease renewals and renegotiations within the assigned territory Providing needed resources for franchisees in assigned territory to develop and meet new store opening plans Initiating recommendations for asset management to improve profitability, including site relocation, store closings, property valuations, and required landlord approvals for facility modificationsQualifications Education / Experience B.S./B.A. degree in a related field 3-5 years' experience in retail site selection, purchase negotiation, and target market identification Proven track record of securing profitable new restaurant or retail sites in a multi-location environment Extensive knowledge of real estate and development processes, site plan engineering, market and economic analysis/evaluation, financial and land evaluation, zoning laws, local ordinances, leases and contracts.
