Description
Noramco, Inc., a member of the Johnson and Johnson family of companies, is currently recruiting for an Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS and S) Co:op located in Wilmington, Delaware.
Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major worldwide producer of medicinal analgesics, pharmaceutical intermediates and synthetic fine organic chemicals.
The EH and S Co:op may: Collect and analyze data, update procedures or other documents, support projects and regulatory requirements. Work with EH and S staff to maintain facility compliance with EH and S regulations. e.g. EPA Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, OSHA requirements, etc. Support process improvements, new product introductions, and associated EH and S activity as needed. Learn about the EH and S regulatory requirements associated with the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Learn about chemical batch processing, the associated process equipment, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a highly regulated environment.
This work site is easily accessed by train or from I:95/495.
Qualifications
Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) at an accredited college/university and be pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related Engineering or Science major is required. Availability to work full:time (40 hours/week) from March : September is required. Completion of at least freshman year of undergraduate studies is required. A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred. Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities are desired. Experience with spreadsheets is preferred. This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1:B status) now or in the future.
