Janssen Biotech Inc., a member of the Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Manufacturing Operations Engineering Co:op to be located in Malvern, PA
The Co:Op will function as a member of the Technical Operations team within Janssen Biotech, Inc. The site is a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The Co:Op will work closely with Management, Process Specialists, Operations Specialists, and Biotechnicians to support manufacturing and the operation of the Technical Operations Department. Primarily responsible for supporting the Upstream and/or Downstream Manufacturing areas and by participating in value stream mapping activities, manufacturing performance improvement initiatives, data analysis, and metric tracking.
Qualifications
Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) at an accredited college/university and pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering academic major is required. Availability to work full:time (40 hours/week) during the Spring / Summer Co:op (March : September xxxx) is required. Completion of at least freshman year of undergraduate program is required. A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred. Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities are desired. Previous experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred.
Co:op positions are located in Malvern, PA. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1:B status) now or in the future.
