Safely completes duties and responsibilities on various projects as assigned and directed. Must have technical knowledge and background in handling equipment and service offerings. Completes all duties wearing the appropriate safety equipment without being reminded. Work assignments may include but are not limited to tower cleaning, air handling, equipment installation, and basic mechanical work. The On-Demand Laborer should have experience or be willing to perform and assist with the maintenance, cleaning and disinfections of cooling towers, heating coils (air handler units), water fountains, kitchen equipment and pools. Installation of equipment, as needed, any experience with minor electrical and mechanical applications would be beneficial. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Cleaning and disinfections of institutional cooling towers and domestic hot/cold water tanks - HVAC Cleanings/Disinfections - Water treatment and biological testing and monitoring - Handling of chemicals Equipment used includes but not limited to: - High-pressure power washers not to exceed xxxxpsi. - Industrial wet/dry vacuum - Ladders - Safety equipment including but not limited to: ½ or full facemask, hardhat, protective eyewear, latex/vinyl gloves, and protective suitPosition Accountabilities1. Understands Company Safety Guidelines. Practices these consistently without being reminded wears all prescribed PPE2. Reliable and trustworthy shows up on time, with appropriate attire and safety gear and is ready to work.3. Follows the direction of the supervisor well. Looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency or safety of the process.4. This job can be physical in nature demonstrates ability to perform tasks required.5. Able to interact with the customer effectively as needed to answer questions, and too provide assistance in staging the jobs.6. Capable of basic written communication. 7. May be required to complete data entry and basic reporting on a computer.
