Program Overview The Comcast MBA Internship Program is an 11-week internship program designed to identify high-caliber talent to build our organization with the best and the brightest students who come from a variety of sourcing channels, including on-campus engagement, partner organizations, and direct applications. In this program you will immerse yourself into the Comcast culture, working side by side with innovative and talented Comcasters. You will cultivate meaningful relationships and develop strong interpersonal and business skills that will set you apart from your peers. Additionally, your experience will include: * Exposure: An inside look into the day-to-day operations of an organization at the cutting edge of media and technology. * Professional Development: Exposure to a variety of professional development topics facilitated through our University Relations team and with senior leaders within the organization. These sessions include speaker series and networking opportunities. * Mentorship: Mentoring from fellow colleagues through the Empowering Future Leaders Program (EFLP) to help you navigate your experience, provide coaching, and expand your professional network. * Fun: Continuously develop relationships with fellow interns through social activities, community building, and networking. Role Overview: The Real Estate Department is responsible for all major activities in a portfolio of 3,300 properties in 41 states. The Real Estate Department tracks the properties using a web-based platform. The data base is populated with significant property parameters and documents: lease abstracts, lease documents, deeds, etc. Approximately 60 Field Administrators in the Cable Regions have been trained and to a degree self-manage their portfolios. Other properties leased or owned by Comcast, such as Programming assets, are maintained by the Real Estate Department. On an annual basis the Real Estate Department manages approximately 60 significant acquisition, disposition and lease transactions and designs and constructs approximately 20 significant projects. Intern will be responsible for providing day to day support to all disciplines within the Real Estate Department. Under direct supervision, the position will provide assistance relating to deals & transactions, facilities management, design & construction and routine clerical functions.
