Position Summary:
The Unit Director III will be the on:site leader for our organization at the Unit. In the eyes of the client, this is the person that best represents our company. As you will see below, this role is expanding and one must have extremely strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
Responsible for the overall management of the Environmental Services Department. Responsible for successfully coordinating and supporting all activities of the department including ultimate financial responsibility by management of the WOR. Works with all levels of the facility staff in all matters relating to the cleanliness of assigned facility. Fiscal responsibilities would be 1.0 MM to 3.0MM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve Budget/Financial Responsibilities
:Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics
:Controls expenses within area of responsibility
:Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensures that department operates within budget
:Evaluates and justifies supplies, equipment and purchases as needed
Customer Relations
:Addresses and ensures Business and Industry Client Needs are met.
:Demonstrates good/effective communication skills in client.
Operation Excellence
:Demonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plans
:Acts as a positive role model; proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectives
:Coordinates housekeeping activities with other hospital departments.
:Provides recommendations for replacement of furnishings and wall coverings with OSHA standards in mind.
