Job Description and Expectations
SAP is seeking to add experienced professionals to its Industry Value Engineering organization. As an Industry Value Advisor (IVA) at SAP, you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact. SAP is the benchmark for value:based selling and maintains this leadership position through strength of industry, a proven methodology, industry exclusive business process benchmarks, and extraordinary talent. The Life Sciences industry is a key growth opportunity for SAP. We are seeking Life Sciences industry experienced consultative sales professionals who can help SAP customers realize the full potential of the broad spectrum of SAP solutions. Successful IVAs provide industry thought leadership, strategic solution advice and expert consultation to support customer co:innovation, enterprise transformation, and business process performance improvement programs. Additional expectations include:
:Partner with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute sales plays.
:Lead customer engagements to assess strategic objectives, innovation scenarios, key improvement opportunities, and other sources of incremental economic value.
:Strong grasp of industry trends that will shape future technology investments.
:Lead strategic account planning sessions with customers, facilitate customer vision workshops, and lead delivery of value:focused engagements.
:Regularly benchmark SAP customers for best practices and value achieved.
:Development of SAPs brand through thought leadership, content creation, appearances, articles and social and traditional media interviews, etc.
:Represent SAP externally and internally on a local level on industry sector, innovation and value management related topics.
:Expected travel 25 to 50.
Qualifications
:Minimum 10 years of professional experience in sales or sales support
:Minimum 4 years of management consulting with a leading firm
:Minimum 5 years of experience delivering technology to companies in the Life Sciences industry
:Experience in diverse technology landscape and process/technology integration issues, SAP technologies preferred
:Exceptional communication skills including writing, presenting and group facilitation. Design Thinking experience a plus.
:MBA or equivalent degree required from Top University.
:Close proximity to Philadelphia, Boston, or New York City preferred
