Purpose and Objective of Position
The development, maintenance, and migration of internal applications and data. Will assist in design, development and migration of SAP Custom Development internal tools and processes to latest SAP technical standards (Fiori, UI5/HTML5, HANA). All technical and non:technical aspects from requirements definition through development and support.
Expectations and Tasks
Development of internal tools with a strong focus on web and mobile
Design of web based RESTful API
Re:design of existing tools to latest standards and technologies
Data design and migration
Use and improvement of continuous integration pipeline and automation
Define and develop User interface design
Operate effectively in a diverse, globally distributed team environment
Skills / Competencies
Core knowledge in programming and databases
Experience with Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Model:View:Controller architecture)
Experience with MEAN stack is a plus, SAP technologies work in a similar way.
Database Administration (HANA, SQL Server, mySQL)
Data Design (Normalization, Flow Analysis)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, SQL Server) and automation (VBA) is a plus
Agile development methodologies and tools (git/github, Continuous integration)
Development automation (Jenkins, Ruby/Chef)
User Interface design
Mobile app development is a plus
Cloud development experience is a plus
Networking and security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSO/SSL)
Operating systems: Linux (SuSE, Redhat, Ubuntu), Microsoft Windows Server
Business administration concepts
Excellent written/oral communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Educational Requirements
Computer Science. Information Technology (or related degree) graduate or student
General Business Administration is a plus
Preferably Junior or Senior if student
