Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for an IT Lead, Discovery Sciences & JBIO (Janssen BioTherapeutics), Business Technology Leader. This position’s primary location will be either Raritan, NJ; Springhouse, PA; or Beerse, BE. This position will require up to 5% international and domestic travel.

This role will be part of the Discovery Sciences & JBIO IT team with responsibility for program and project management. This role will manage projects with varying degrees of complexity and will support the portfolio planning process and project management practices for Discovery Sciences and JBIO IT.Â
 
Responsibilities:
Leads medium to large projects and programs
Establishes scope and project objectives, budget and resources requirements, and partners with business to realize expected business value.
Manages business partner expectations, resolving conflicts between requirements, timelines and budgets.
Ensures projects are staffed appropriately, manages project financials and manages cross-scrum coordination,
Identifies and manages risk and issues at the project and program level.Â
Negotiates the needs of multiple users or business partners.
Incorporates agile methodologies into project plans and works closely with scrum master to align timelines, resources and budgets.Â
Monitors and reports on status of projects and maintains projects in project management tools.Â
Builds and maintains strong partnerships with business, BTL, PLO and development teams.
Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary, and participates in compliance activities as required.
Qualifications
A BA/BS Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience is requiredÂ
Working knowledge of processes and technologies in the Discovery Research and/or Pre-Clinical space is required
Successful project delivery experience and proven track record managing technology projects is required
PMI certification desired
Ability to assess project impacts and communicating the tradeoffs between businesses needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs and risks is required
Understanding of Agile Methodology is preferred
