The Company is going through transformation of its Finance and Risk platforms. This position requires knowledge of the Hyperion EPM suite of applications with a focus on Essbase Administration, Development, related Data Analysis and support activities. Developers are held to a high standard while they support critical business functions for customers across the company while meeting tough uptime SLAs and ensuring robust system performance. You will work together with a team of expert engineers, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Planning for the Hyperion Essbase environment running on Linux with multiple applications employing BSO, ASO, partitioning technologies and automated metadata loads.
Support a complex Data Integration environment.
Research and resolve data reconciliation issues using SQL.
Update mappings, Load Rules, Run Schedules and MaxL scripts.
Tune the Essbase cubes, calculation scripts, and related configurations.
Support Environment, cube, data, artifact Migration activities.
Lead requirement gathering, design and build activities for new Essbase applications.
Creating technical documentation and producing environment performance metrics.
Ensuring Application environments performs consistently within defined SLAs.
Must have at least 5 years of hands:on Essbase Development and Administration experience.
Knowledge and experience writing and tuning Calculation Scripts
Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis using SQL
Experience with complex multi:server, multi:application environments
Experience with High Availability environments (24/7)
In:depth knowledge of the causes and remedies of performance issues within the Hyperion environment.
Demonstrated excellence in consultation, presentation, verbal, and written communications skills.
Ability to work effectively with business customers and users.
BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant Business field.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Experience with HFM, FDMEE, ARM, and Hyperion Planning
Experience with MDX
A strong desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
