Connect America is seeking a Sr. IT Operations Manager. The Sr. IT Operations Manager directs and manages all functions of the Systems Engineering, Help Desk, Development Operations and Networking departments. The Sr. IT Operations Manager plans, coordinates, directs, and designs all operational activities of the IT departments, as well as provides direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission:critical business operations. The Sr. IT Operations Manager works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost:effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Manage support the services team responsible for 400+ users located primarily in PA with smaller offices in USA and Canada
:Manage new and current vendor relationships. Develop bid specifications for new and replacement hardware and software.
:Manage IT department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
:Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation to executive team, department leads, support staff, and end users
:Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, training, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
:Formulate and deploy long:term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost:effective information processing and communication technologies
:Project manage daily help desk support tasks as well as strategic initiatives
:Oversee the infrastructure for Microsoft servers are properly configured, diagnosed, repaired and secure
:Oversee the Support of firewalls, security software and other security protocols and systems
:Establish service level agreements with end users
:Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices
:Prepare and manage the Information Technology Operations budget
:Develop and review budgets for and from IT department divisions and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives
:Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
:Where necessary, re:engineer applications support to ensure it aligns with business processes, tactical planning, and strategic vision
:Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
:Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs
:Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures for security, standards, associated training plans, HIPAA, PCI and business continuity
:Establish and maintain regular written and in:person communications with the organizations executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
:Minimum experience required 3:5 years of IT management and 6 years minimum IT overall
:Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant work experience
:Minimum five years experience in network administration with Windows services; to include knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, Symantec Endpoint
Protection/Encryption and anti:spam techniques
:Experience with managing and deploying Windows Servers, workstations and VMware.
:Minimum of three years experience in coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems, to include planning, specifications development, purchasing, installation, training, trouble shooting, and repair
:Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office 365 for Business, and Salesforce
:Active Roles or Active Directory Management Software, and SSO Solutions skills desired
